Day Sails with the Jubilee Sailing Trust
Get a taste of life at sea on one of our day sails!
In just one day you can have a tall ships experience and sample some of the aspects that make sailing with the JST a unique adventure. Try your hand at helming the ship and setting the sails and enjoy our freshly cooked food straight from the galley.
Our tall ships experiences are ideal if you would like to see what it is like on board our ships before signing up for a longer voyage or if you would like to go sailing but don't wish to sleep on board. They also make very special gifts for loved ones.
Children from as young as 12, if accompanied by a parent or appropriate adult, can join us for a day sail, making it a great day out for families.
"I want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone involved with JST. I had such a wonderful time on my daysail in August, and the two voyages I am recently back from were out of this world. 'Changing Lives' is so right - I saw, and felt it happening!" Margaret

Before you book, please read payment and cancellation clauses in our
Terms and conditions of Sailing.
We are unable to accept bookings for day sails from anyone under 16 unless that person is accompanied by a parent or appropriate adult.
The JST regrets that for safety reasons we are unable to accommodate anyone on board our ships who has profound learning disabilities, or wheelchair or occasional wheelchair users weighing more than 16 stone. Please note wheelchairs should not exceed the maximum 66.5cm width on board and MUST be manual. We also cannot accept bookings from anyone who proposes to use an electric wheelchair on board our ships.
Anyone booking a day sail and who is severely physically disabled, has learning disabilities, or needs personal care, is required to bring an able-bodied friend (buddy) with them. The buddy should have experience of helping with their particular needs and he/she must be over the age of 18. You should ensure you read our Terms and Conditions of Sailing before booking - they also contain terms dealing with the disclosure of medical conditions and disabilities.
'Going aloft' may be possible for those who do not require climbing assistance but the opportunity will be subject to weather conditions on the day. Because of the manning levels and time constraints during a day sail, assisted climbs are not possible.
Full payment is required at the time of booking a day sail. Payments for day sails are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by you. In the event of cancellation by the JST due to weather conditions which prevent the ship from sailing, we will aim to organise a programme of activities for the day, and you will be offered either 50% off a future day sail, or we will set the amount you have paid for the day sail against a future voyage. Full details can be found in our
Terms and Conditions of Sailing.
