Adventurers Wanted for Tall Ship Adventures

PRESS RELEASE Date: 29/11/10 Adventurers Wanted for Tall Ship Voyages The Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) owns and operates the majestic tall ships, Lord Nelson and Tenacious, specially designed and built to enable able-bodied and disabled people to sail side by side as equals, learning new skills, forging great friendships and meeting new challenges. The JST has received a generous donation from the The Birkdale Trust for Hearing Impaired Ltd, for bursary funding for 10 young people from England or Wales, aged 16-25 years old to experience a tall ship voyage. Each bursary will partly finance a place on a JST voyage and can be used by a young person who wishes to take part in the Leadership@Sea Scheme.

On board our two magnificent, fully accessible, tall ships every body gets the chance to participate in all aspects of running the ship.

Paul Takes off on a Voyage of a Lifetime

PRESS RELEASE Date: 22/11/10 Paul Takes off on a Voyage of a Lifetime Grimsby-born man Paul Moorby will be setting off on his voyage of a lifetime aboard a unique ship at the beginning of December this year. Paul, Managing Director of an IT company in Wiltshire where he now lives, will be joining the tall ship Tenacious for a 35 day voyage leaving Las Palmas in the Canaries on 3 December and arriving in Antigua in the Caribbean on 6 January 2011.

Last week Dr Ruth Padday was nominated for a comptetition called 'Light up Your Life', for BBC Solent's Julian Clegg show. Whereby the Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) were invited to nominate a member of the community that lights up people's lives.

Afghan veteran Kyle Baker joined UK Tall Ship Sailing Adventure

- PRESS RELEASE - Afghan veteran Kyle Baker joined UK Tall Ship Sailing Adventure On Friday 8th October, 19 year old Kyle Baker from Cheshire joined Tenacious for a tall ship adventure. Sailing from Canary Wharf, London, for an 8 day voyage, the ship stopped over in St. Malo, France, and returned to Southampton the following week.

Clare Takes off on Another Tall Ship Adventure

PRESS RELEASE Date: 08/11/10 Clare Takes off on another Tall Ship Adventure. Clare Shipman, a retired medical worker from Truro, will be setting off on another tall ship adventure aboard a unique ship at the end of January next year. Clare will be joining the Lord Nelson for an eight day voyage around the Canary Islands, leaving Las Palmas on 31 January and returning there on 7 February.
