Somewhere deepin the Indian Ocean!
Actually Ithink we do know where we are because we are travelling south east to Mauritius. At last, we have nearly all the sails up and the engines have been stopped; theresult is actually quite a smooth ride compared to the rough stuff we hadbefore. We really are quite well along, having gone 300miles from Durban, but wedid see one ship on the horizon and a lost yellow buoy.
Dave and Mandycontinue to do miracles in the galley and we are lucky that we still have quitea lot of fresh stores which we took on in Durban.
Seems agessince some overly officious guards, at the dock gates, tried to breathalyse uswhen we came back quite innocently in taxis when we had our last nightout.
Thisafternoon, the sun is shining and the seas are calm. Voyage crew are sprawled onthe decks in various stages of undress, sunbathing: the litter of prone bodiesis like the aftermath in a disaster.
