09/03/2013 - Tenacious

Sailing merrily along on the good ship Tenacious, still heading for Monaco (we hope).The weather is kinder and the wind abated to a more comfortable 30 knots. So far some we have seen a turtle and some dolphins. On 12.30-4 watch blue skies no ships until one in the distance dead ahead. We hope the on-coming watch will avoid it. Permanent crew taught some chart plotting. The mate gave a talk on sail setting this morning , so now we can manage the ship on our own if by chance the crew vanish overnight. Dom steered with the aid of the audio compass and the joy stick. Looking forward to a wholesome meal, then on to the midnight - 4am watch, and another beautiful star filled night.
