From a very windswept passage up to Port Elizabeth, we have just dropped anchor outside the port for an evening to ready the ship for berthing tomorrow. Last night it was very difficult to sleep due to the movement of the ship, and this morning saw us bounding along with the wind and the seas behind us, at times it gusted to force 8.
Many are looking forward to a visit tomorrow to Schotia Privet Game Reserve, arranged by 2 of the the VC namely Peter and Jay Bean whose family have farmed the area for 6 generations since the early 1800's, so look forward to reprts from there the day after tommorow.
