Making good headway west 6knts overnight. Weather has eased somewhat, sea calmer but still plenty of pot holes that the helmsmen can’t avoid, many of crew are feeling marginally better. After a big windshift last evening the mizzen, mainmast and foremast stay sails were handed and need to be stowed properly this morning.

Dolphins sighted off the bow.

Tonight is Halloween and the crew are busy decorating the ship for this evenings festivities.

We are still plodding along on a sou/westerly course across the Bay of Biscay hoping to get enough westing to allow us to tack and get a good sail into Lisbon.

Skipper Darren has said that anybody knocking on his door trick or treating will be thrown overboard.
