Snowdonia National Park, Wales
Have you ever considered a sponsored challenge, but not sure where to start? Why not take part in our trek to Wales’s highest peak!
We’ll be trekking to the top of Mount Snowdon. Along the way you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery and rugged terrain of the Snowdonia national park. At 1,085m (3,560ft) you will experience incredible views while achieving something great for a good cause.
Like our voyages, this is an adventure inclusive for all abilities. We’ll be taking the Llanberis route to the top. Although this route is a little longer than others, it’s considered the best way to the top for a mixed-ability crew like ours. Average climb time is 3-4 hours.
By completing your sponsorship and trek, you will be making a huge difference to our ships and the experiences of those who sail with us. Your fundraising helps keep our unique ships in shape to deliver voyages year on year, that break down the barriers between people with disabilities and those able-bodied.
– Sponsorship pack with fun and easy ideas on how to achieve your goal
– Optional 8 or 12 week training plan to ensure you are well prepared
– Optional lunch on the day for when you reach the top
– Trek T-shirt
– Information on local accommodation and facilities should you wish to incorporate this event with other activities available
We are taking calls for places already. To register, email Andy.Lockey@jst.org.uk or call 023 8044 9108.
