The sea is settling and everyone is feeling better and hungry. As we approached Dartmouth we saw many other sail boats enjoying the sea conditions. We motored up the river, welcomed by a cannon and lots of cheers and waves from the people lining the shore. The water was full of youngsters being taught to sail and taking part in their first regatta.
Such a variety of boats on the water with many old ones including a delightful paddle steamer. Along the other bank a steam train attracted our attention all of us keen to get a picture.
While waiting for shore leave the voyage crew worked on their BTEC course book, keen to finish book one before the deadline tomorrow.
