Walk the Test Way

Where & When

Starting: 10 October 2010 07:30:00
Ending: 10 October 2010 12:09:00
Address:
Our walks start at various points along this route, with the furthest the 26 mile “Marathon” starting at St Mary Bourne alongside the Bourne Rivulet. The rivulet joins the River Test just before Wherwell our next start point (18 miles), and our route intermingles with the Test for the rest of our walks, from Stockbridge (13 miles), Horsebridge (10 miles), Mottisfont Church (5 miles) and for our final “Stroll” from Squabb Wood (designed with children in mind) for the last 2.5 miles. All walks end back in Memorial Park, Romsey.

Help us fundraise and take part in this event organised by Rotary Club of Romsey Test who last year raised over £65,000 for over 90 charities by over 640 walkers.

This year,  10th October 2010, help raise money for your charity and Walk the Test Way and see if together we can raise the distance to reach Sydney or even Auckland (11,404miles)!

The walk begins and the Test Way stretches approx. 45 miles from Inkpen Beacon in the north to Totton in the south, and was originally used by sailors arriving in Southampton as a transit route to the Midlands.

Registeration will commence June 2010.
