Both Lord Nelson and Tenacious will be sailing in UK and European waters this summer!
Tenacious will spend a fabulous summer exploring the shores of Europe and the UK. In April, there will be a brilliant whale watching voyage in the Azores, and in June, a very special World War II D-Day memorial voyage, visiting the Normandy beaches, the city of Cherbourg and sailing up the canal to Caen.
She will then spend some time sailing around the south coast on some superb voyages, calling in to Poole, London, Portsmouth, Weymouth, and sailing across the English Channel to visit the lovely Belgian city, Bruges. Tenacious will also be celebrating the 15th anniversary of her maiden voyage with some very special celebrations in September.
Lord Nelson will be circumnavigating the UK, visiting some brilliant coastal landmarks and also competing in the European Tall Ships Races.
She will visit some fantastic cities including Liverpool and Glasgow, before competing in Sail Training International’s Tall Ships Races. Racing from Northern Ireland to Norway, then Norway to Denmark, she’ll also take part in a brilliant cruise-in-company along the beautiful Norwegian coastline.
After some fantastic racing in Europe, she’ll then embark on a superb voyage exploring the stunning Norwegian Fjords and the gorgeous Shetland Isles, before arriving in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh.
Sailing down the east coast of Britain, Lord Nelson will visit the popular seaside towns of Whitby and Great Yarmouth (to attend the popular Maritime Festival) and will also call in to London, before sailing back in to her home port of Southampton for some fantastic voyages exploring the south coast and the Solent.
