In April, Tenacious will be dry-docked as part of her ongoing programme of certification and maintenance. These essential engineering works are critical to the Jubilee Sailing Trust’s ability to continue delivering life-changing experiences, day after day.
Both Tenacious and Lord Nelson are maintained to the highest possible standards. Both ships are regulated by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and are classed by the Lloyds Register. MCA and Lloyds Register requirements demand investing substantial sums of money in the maintenance and upkeep of both globally unique ships.
This vital investment to keep our ships safe, seaworthy and comfortable requires continuous fundraising. The cost of the voyages alone does not cover the essential maintenance work required annually, and each year we have to raise in excess of £2 million to keep voyages affordable and accessible to our crews.
Please share this appeal with as many of your family, friends and networks as you can. By doing this you will help increase awareness of the amazing work we do and raise more funds for the ships. Thank you for any donation you are able to give towards this appeal. It is hugely appreciated.
