Last night our iconic SV Tenacious was the venue for a special event in recognition of all our fantastic supporters from the London shipping community. Certificates of Gratitude were presented by JST Trustee Mark Rawson to a number of individuals and companies that have helped JST in a wide variety of ways.Certificates were awarded to the following:
Malcom Entwistle – Honorary Secretary of JST for 30 years
Capt. Ian McNaught – representing Trinity House and stalwart supporter of JST throughout our history
Alston Gayler (as part of the Miller Group)– a specialist expert in maritime insurance broking who have made sure we are always properly covered
Andreas Bisbas of Tsakos Shipping– for his immense industry knowledge and support
Beazley Syndicate– who have always helped with our marine risk needs
Martin White CEO of Stream Marine Training Ltd.- who train our sea crew in return for our collaborative support for beneficiaries of Martin’s other charitable interests – a great example of best practice collaboration between companies and the charitable sector.
BP Shipping – represented by Suarabh Sachdeva and Stuart Thomson. They are really leading the corporate world in diversity and inclusion with their staff cohort already gender balanced and now looking to work with JST to develop their inclusion further.
