A day mostly full of blue skies, calm seas and entertaining dolphins. Still sailing – we haven’t used the engine since Antigua (apart from in and out of Harbours. Morning exercise was setting both the t’gallants and royals, handing the main course and putting in a harbour stow. Mike’s glasses fell from the end of the yard, but survived! After handing the outer jib, we set the flying jib and inner jib. That bit was for the Sailors! We’re in sight of Panama and are at last starting to see more ships. We’re nearing the traffic separation scheme and will be anchoring for the canal passage hopefully on Sunday. Highlights of the day were 2 people joining the button club (touching the top of the mast) and Aussie Annette finally managed to keep the ship on course.
