The JST team were at the Beaulieu Boatjumble on Sunday 22nd April, 2018.

It’s one of the biggest events of its kind in the South of England, with hundreds of stalls and stands selling both new and used kit, clothes, and craft.

You can be sure of picking up some real treasures with old and new wares available, boat parts, nauticalia, clothing, gadgets, rope and general jumble. A fantastic event and we hope to see you there next year.

Visit their Facebook event for more info.

Wait, there’s more!

The Beaulieu River Sailing Club have announced that the JST will be their charity of the year for 2018. We’re thrilled to hear this and grateful for their support.

This natural haven where the New Forest meets the Solent is certainly worth a visit if you’re ever nearby. Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour offers a sheltered setting for 115 fully serviced berths, more than 300 moorings and a boat park with a slipway. It’s just a shame our ships are too big for the river!

Mary Montagu-Scott, Commodore of Beaulier River Sailing Club, commented:

“The Beaulieu River is delighted that the JST will be our charity of the year for 2018. In this special 40th year we wanted to choose a local charity that makes a difference to peoples lives through voyages at sea.

“At mooring holders events throughout the year, we will try to raise as much as we can and hopefully raise awareness of the work of the JST. If only we could get the ships in to the river to visit but sadly they are too big, so we will have to go out to them when they are in the Solent. I have been a long term supporter and delighted to be able to help them along with all our river users and team here on the Beaulieu River and Buckler’s Hard.”
