Congratulations to Elizabeth ‘Hammie’ Tappenden who has been presented with an MBE in recognition of her success in business and women’s enterprise. Hammie has been a long serving cook on both our ships as well as helping over 800 businesses on the Island. Topping off the day she married Bosuns Mate, Rob Ford after 18 years together having met on Lord Nelson. Congratulations to Hammie on her well deserved award and every happiness to them both on the occasion of their marriage.
