Global sailing training charity, Southampton based Jubilee Sailing Trust, has appointed local agency Lee Peck Media to look after all its marketing and PR services.
In the 43 years since its formation, more than 50,000 people have sailed with the JST which aims to create life changing experiences for disabled and non-disabled people and people suffering all forms of social isolation aboard the tall ship SV Tenacious. The charity’s work with disabled people has been recognised across the world, including the United Nations.
Now, as the JST enters a new chapter post COVID, the organisation has restructured its communications team to take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead. JST Chief Executive Patrick Fleming said: “It has been an immensely challenging time for all charities during the past 12 months and we are no exception.”

In outsourcing our marketing and public relations to Lee Peck Media, it will ensure we not only get the very best advice around but it gives us the headroom to focus on delivering our training, our voyages and crucially our fund raising which is an absolute priority. Partnerships with all our stakeholders, locally, nationally and internationally are vitally important and Lee Peck Media will work with us to build on these going forward.”
