As we awake this morning, some with sore heads following the BBQ yesterday evening, we look at the idyllic islands around us and prepare to weigh anchor to start the last section of this amazing passage voyage. Saying goodbye to these islands will be a sad parting.
17 days at sea to follow, murder most foul to be commenced, the Video producers beavering away with crew dressed in a variety of weird costume, strangely though some of them actually suit them….
We will now drop back into the regular watch routine looking forward to arriving in Fremantle but also sad that now we are well over the half-way point.
The leaving of the Cocos Islands was made more special by our method of leaving… The Captains Blog will explain a lot more watch this place.
