This is our second day of maintenance, apart from cleaning the ship up for our next voyage which begins on Wednesday, various jobs have been in progress, sail repairs, wire oiling and rust removing to name but a few. Last night at Moby Dick’s our numbers were low but our spirits high as we toasted absent friends. Jon the mate celebrates his birthday today and was presented this morning with the biggest chocolate egg we have ever seen. ‘A 1.8kg chocolate marathon’ was the words he used! The cooler weather has been welcomed by all, having had 3 days of heat and humidity, it has made the workload that much easier. The last voyage crew from STW7 departed this morning and by now will be well into their journey, hope to see you all again soon.
