This is Monday I think. We are 50 miles approx. from the Shetland Isles enjoying a beautiful sunny sail. All the sails are up (apart from the ones we don’t know about). The horizon has been perfectly empty for hours with only a few seagulls to keep us company.
On our watch this afternoon we have Euan as volunteer Watch Leader – giving JC a break.
The other intrepid youngsters on D of E award schemes and so on have been subjecting themselves to extra challenges by experiencing life on board from a different angle, either in wheelchairs or wearing blindfolds.
It really is very peaceful out here on the high seas today.
Yours floatingly, Forward Port watch.
