Day 4
Hi this is mike from forward port watch. The last day has been a mix of highs and lows. On leaving Sydney and looking back at all the magnificent tall ships as we all lined up for the start of the race. It was beautiful. And then after all the heat and the work at the start came the cool and the waiting. Waiting for the wind to die down because as I type the wind is near gale force and the sea state is shocking. But I’m starting to cope with the weather and feeling brighter all the time hope to speak to you again before the end of the voyage.
