Antigua – Antigua

We are currently losing sight of Antigua as we sail on our way to Barbados.   We have square sails and fore and afters set, the sun is shining and we are beating to windward past Monserrat towards Guadeloupe in a force 4 breeze and a very pleasant temperature of 27 degrees.  We arrived two days ago to a birthday cake and rum punches as we joined the ship in English Harbour.  Yesterday was spent in safety training and loading stores and in late afternoon we left for our anchorage for the night in Falmouth Harbour.  While waiting for a last minute delivery of milk this morning we carried out bracing drills and rope training and now, hurrah, we are on our way.
