After a hearty breakfast our watch soon took our places on the bridge to start the for noon watch.Within minutes a whale was spotted and the watch enjoyed 5 minutes of marine entertainment. Then the usual watch banter started and so did the laughs. With the sun shining and with little wind we are drifting at a mind bending 1.2knots heading for Illus Desertus to anchor overnight south of Madeira. A lazy Sunday (It’s a hard life) but alas not for 1 member (Jim) of the watch who is hard at work in the galley preparing our lunch.
