Aft Startboard Watch day 10&11 (Mar 18th / 19th )
The day started with the boys attempting early wake up call, Alan having a technical issue with the Ding Dong! A perfect morning on the bridge with sunshine, wind and team spirit. Instruction on partial eclipse and meterorologicial readings by Steve was extremely interesting and we are looking forward to our practical sessions to follow.
After an amazing lunch we had aerobics/pilates in the bow with Instruction and encouragement by our main climbing man Gary. Massive swell led to Sharon wearing Alan and Lady Belinda’s Pinot, but Daz saved the day with soap and drying room space.
Happy hour remains a positive experience and today we have mended the sewing machine and made apparatus to charge the electric toothbrushes.
Early this morning both Whales and Dolphins were sighted with disappointed crew not having their cameras at the ready. What more can we ask for another million dollar day. Looking forward to G & T’s in the sunshine later.
