Day 6 – Today has been all about beginning the journey and getting underway.
We were required to move from the museum dock to a commercial berth in order to take on fuel. Whilst the engineers were taking fuel volunteers were requested to prepare the sails for departure. It’s much easier climbing onto the yard at port than it is at sea it seems. Once fuelled we set the sails in order to depart the berth, sailing off. Onwards to Iceland it is then, should be there in about two weeks….ish. Aft port – Richard, Peter, Anne, Linda, Chris MT, Kate, Markus, Pam and JC.
