Day 13 started with a 7am wake-up call, after an uncomfortable night rolling around. We had to reach our mooring before 10am, because a large number of yachts would be assembling for the start of the annual  transatlantic cruiser race. Once the gangway was in place we had a late breakfast, then everyone went up the masts to carry out harbour stows, and eventually we were free to go ashore. A happy afternoon spent in the town was followed by dinner for the whole voyage crew and some volunteers in a Chinese ‘all-you-can-eat’ restaurant nearby. And so, eventually to bed punctuated by harbour watches before we all disperse in the morning. It’s been a good voyage!
