24/07/16 LN900 – Lisbon to Cadiz, day 1
A fond farewell was said to our last voyage crew, a frantic clean, wash and scrub and we welcomed out new voyage crew. As the heat in Lisbon grew, so did their knowledge of safety on board and the role they would play in the sailing of the ship. We perspired though the evacuation drill and harness fitting, longing to sip cool drinks, with condensation dribbling down the outside while watching the farewell fireworks.
Tomorrow we set off on the next leg of the race.
