LN900 25/07/2016 – And there’re off!
Crossing the start of the race at 10 knots; surrounded by other tall ships in the glistening sea.
We packed in a full morning of training, before we manoeuvred out of Lisbon to parade down the river- under the bridge (and a train!).
Followed by helicopters and buzzed by small boats we basked in the sun, waiting to put our new skills into practice. An early supper and more cake (Happy Birthday Val) and we were ready.
We will update on our position tomorrow.
