Sail the World – FINAL BLOG
With Southampton in view, grey, overcast and cool, it is reminiscent of that afternoon twenty three months ago when we sailed off on the first leg of STS Lord Nelson’s Sail the World adventure. 53 thousand nautical miles later, here we are again!
Many of us are wondering, what will be our next adventure?
This last day is not just special because we are heading back to our home port we are also celebrating Captain Barbara’s birthday. Captain Barbara sailed the ship out of Southampton on the first leg and for her to bring Nellie home and celebrate her birthday at the same time seems the only fitting way to end our journey.

We have visited so many amazing places and met so many amazing people. From us all on the Lord Nelson we thank you all for your hospitality and support.
