Our primary online community fundraiser pages are on Enthuse.

You can set up your own fundraising page, join regional teams (like our Branches, or for certain causes such as the Norfolk Berth Appeal) or set up your own team if there are a group of you fundraising for your challenge!

This page aims to guide you to setting up a fundraiser for us.

Background

The JST profile on Enthuse is here.

From there you can find individual or team fundraisers, or set up your account and fundraising initiative.

Once logged in, you’ll be presented with an option of fundraising types, a personal challenge, a memorial page or a celebration – in this case we’ll choose a personal challenge.

You can then fill in the challenge information as appropriate

You can proceed to define your fundraising target, it can be as little or as much as you realistically think you are able to raise

Image

You can upload a profile picture, or skip this stage and come back to it later.  You’re likely to be more succesful in your goals if people know who they are donating through!

Image

By default, your fundraiser page will use our standard image, but you can choose to change this to something more appropriate to your individual challenge and goals.

Now an important bit!  Tell us, and the world, your story.  What are you doing to raise funds, why is it important to you, and why is it important for people to donate.

Perhaps look at other profiles for ideas, or just tell it as it is, from the heart.  It can be as long or as short as you think you need to sell your story and goals to others.

Image

Now we’re going to set up the link (or page address) to your individual fundraiser.  You will find something already suggested, but you can change it to be more readable (assuming it’s not already in use).

Image

Lastly, we’d love to be able to keep in touch and send you emails about our activities and news, but we understand if you’d rather not.  Either way, mark your preference in this step.

Image

Well, that’s it done!  You can share your page with friends and connections on social media, but otherwise click “Finish” to head through to the profile you’ve created.

Take a look at the next step as there’s a few things you can do if your challenge is exercise related, for example, otherwise ……..

Good Luck!

Lastly, a few pointers.  From your fundraiser page you can:

  • Edit the target amount
  • Add donations
  • Add updates to keep your supporters and sponsors engaged and informed
  • Link “Strava” to your page so supporters can see your exercise progress
