Our commitment to responsible gambling
We are committed to operating the JST Community Lottery in a socially responsible way. We want it to be fun to play whilst raising charitable funds but not at detriment to the vulnerable, including people under the age of 16 years. Whilst the majority of people gamble within their means, for some, gambling can become a problem. It may help you to keep control to remember the following:
- Gambling should be entertaining and not seen as a way of making money
- Avoid chasing losses
- Only gamble what you can afford to lose
- Keep track of the amount of time and money you spend on gambling
- Consider self-exclusion
Self-exclusion
Should you feel that you have issues with gambling and wish to be self excluded from our Lottery please call Sterling Lottery’s Unity platform helpline on 0370 050 9240 to request a self exclusion form.
There is a minimum period of 6 months self exclusion. In this time, Unity will not target you with any marketing material and will remove your name and details from any marketing databases used.
During your self exclusion your account will be closed and any funds held on your behalf will be returned to you. You will need to contact Sterling after your period of self exclusion if you wish to reinstate your membership of the Lottery.
