06:50 approx 130 miles off Cape Finisterre.

Dawn breaking with a warm W x S wind. Stay sails set with a moderate sea after yesterday’s heavy swell. Due to a WNW wind shift, we set topsails and main course yesterday amid flying spray, Tenacious loved it, and the crew spirits were up as we cracked along overnight at 9 knots. Handed square sails midnight due to a backing wind. This morning we are still making 7 knots with engines. Life drying out on board now. Meals have been entertaining, well done to the galley team! One or two food jars have gone flying, sweet chilli is off the menu!
