Marianne, Cat and Lauren went up to release lower topsail gaskets on the main mast straight after breakfast followed by another gang releasing lower topsail gaskets on the fore mast. Before casting our lines we set the outer jib, and the engine was rapidly turned off as we left port and set sails. There was a rainbow over the island and the wind freshened and as this blog is written at 17.15 we have eight sails set and are making 6.9 knots over ground
