Yesterday afternoon we were free to explore Malaga in the sunshine. Some went up to the citadels, some to the Cathedral and some got no further than the local bars!
In the evening, most sampled the delicious local food and drink, in a traditional bodega, and were treated to free samples of the local dessert wine. We woke to another beautiful sunny morning and many went ashore again. Once back on-board, there was a rush for merchandise once the JST shop opened. Kitted out in our JST gilets and polo shirts, and familiar now with our handling of lines and fenders, we were piloted out of Malaga at 15.00. Still no wind, and on the calm surface of the sea it was easy to spot turtles, sunfish, and dolphins, but no tuna caught yet today!
