Dolphins sighted late afternoon, a whole pod playing over the bow, chasing the jumping tuna that had passed previously.
Overnight Tenacious gently bobbed around under sail, averaging 1.5 knots and making slow progress. We handed the royal for the night shift. All was peaceful sailing under the stars on this clear night until
09:30 after breakfast… when a wave of thick fog rolled across the water and engulfed us. We are now sailing with very limited visibility and the LOUD foghorn blasting every 2 minutes. Our watch are on lookout and listening hard for any potential vessels on a collision course. The sun is trying to break through and burn the fog off.
