Maintenance Day
I awoke at 6am as could not sleep anymore, as I had fallen asleep at 20:30 last night. I sought out the job of plating up for breakfast on my own, upper mess and lower mess, as I knew I wanted to go into Southampton later, and more importantly to visit the famous JST head office, to explain that thanks from me was not enough. I wanted to explain how the voyage and being on the Tenacious, and indeed the crew, had enabled me to “Live rather than Exist”. After leaving the office I had a great feeling of joy at the prospect of maybe finding my place in life, I then headed very happily back to Tenacious to continue my jobs.
