Left Vigo 10am Saturday 12th April and sailed to a beautiful island within the National Sea and Land Park off the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. Dropped anchor off Islas Cies. Ferried ashore by DOTI boat and rib and spent the afternoon exploring the island and having a swim. Lovely white sand and clear water. There was a small restaurant in which to drink beer and take in the fantastic views. Back to Tenacious for supper then sun downers with Engineer’s punch watching the sunset over the islands. Bright moon and moonshine across the water. Waiting for North Easterly winds to subside off Finisterre before heading across the Bay of Biscay and deciding whether to head for France or Ireland.

Port Aft Watch.
