TNS day 8 13/11/13
Today started with ‘good morning, it is a beautiful day in Gibraltar’. WHAT? Oh no, not backwards. Just a joke, but it definitely woke us. We worked on sail handling and now have a new line to shoot on shore, ‘we tacked, missed stays, boxed the sails and wore ship instead. Look it up.
Some of us saw a whale, at least that is how the story goes. Climbing the mast is becoming a common sport and we just caught a tuna. We hope it will feed us all for dinner. So in general you could say we are a bunch of very happy sailors.
And the sun just came out again.
