On Sunday we sailed until evening.  The wind got up later in the evening to give us a bit of work to do bracing the yards. By midnight we were back close to El Hierro. On Monday we awoke to a lovely sunny day. Iain spotted two dolphins alongside and also a swordfish was sighted. We were very close to La Gomera and sailed around part of the island observing the basalt formation of Los Organos, before turning round about one o’clock to head for our destination on the island. We came alongside in Valle Gran Rey at three thirty in a lovely sea side port. Some set off to explore and others headed for the beach to take advantage of the hot summery day.

A fabulous end to a busy at the braces!

Best wishes from the Forward Starboard team – Jude, Delia, Iain, Anne, Brian, Damon and Laurence.
