Well, we all here, this beautiful, sunny, mountainous island; two flew to Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, rather than La Palma, the island, but all are safely onboard now! Yesterday was welcome to new voyage crew, having bade farewell to the previous crew, there are some familiar faces, and some going to sea for the first time. It is Carnival in Santa Cruz La Palma! Most of Tenacious’ Crew went out in town last night after a lovely supper on board and I hear there were fantastic street bands, processions, with fishes, children, pirates, and incredible music and dancing. However this Medical Purser was duty officer so had to stay on board !! At the moment many are climbing aloft, following safety drills earlier this morning, and we set sail this afternoon bound for Seville.
