Day 4
Clear skies and a smoking Mt Etna provided the backdrop to our entry to Riposte port. Captain Steve navigated Tenacious safely to her berth to a warm welcome from the local port agency.
At 10.45 we boarded a bus to make our way up to Mt Etna, some 2020m above sea level. Once off the bus the drop in temperature surprised us all; along with the sight of skiers and snowboarders to those that took the bubble lift to the next height level. The majority however, explored the craters and bar nearer to the car park. The return journey back to Tenacious was followed up by another fantastic meal and normal duties back on board are resumed.
