We sailed through the night , a clear starlit night headed for Gran Tarajal on the Eastern coast Feurteventura , a small little known village which is off the beaten track and the tourist trail. We arrived and pulled alongside and tied up and secured late afternoon.We were greeted to a very warm welcome. Some locals had arranged a small but perfectly formed reception for Tenacious which consisted of them coming aboard laden with homemade traditional tapas, particularly tasty were the balcahau croquettas and tortilla. The rioja was also very good too and after a brief interlude to freshen up most of the voyage crew ventured ashore for more rioja and cervesa and PIZZA !!!! TNS429 xx
