Last full day of TNS403! We set sail off the anchor and steamed into The Solent passing the Needles off the Isle of Wight, usual fine fare served up for breakfast and lunch from Micah and the galley crew.
Lots of sail stowing and going aloft by the more active of the VC and the Bosun.We anchored again in The Solent as evening approached and we were joined by a large flotilla of yachts as Thursday was clearly sailing night for the locals.
Chief Pete and Mr Chipps set up their sound system then assembled the BBQ preceded by their special Sundowners, the quality of the food produced by the engineering dept was amazing unlike their choice of music.
The evening progressed into the bar with another lengthy session of seashanties led by Martin and Jared, the former sporting his checked pyjamas and cosy slippers, the highlight was a rousing rendition of RULE BRITANNIA !!!!
