Well it might be the last day of September but for some lucky people it is the first day for a 7 day voyage on Tenacious.
By 1pm most of the voyage crew were signing on to be a regular sailor for the duration of the trip
Signing on meant that they were now going to work the Ship for the next 7 days. As the Captain says “we take no passengers, only crew and it will be up to them under the guidance of the permanent crew to take Her to Her destination.
The commitment doesn’t stop there as they will also help prepare the many meals to be eaten on board and keeping the living quarters clean and ship shape.
So with this all in mind Tenacious leaves Her moorings in dockside 107 and makes Her way out of the Solent meeting many interesting ships passing as the night falls
Tonight the plan is to anchor at Salt Mead in the western Solent Isle of Wight.
