Yesterday afternoon we had lots of activity. We hung the Main Course to air it out then later, with many hands out on the arms, it was harbour stowed. Also a replacement Main t’gallant was hoisted up from the deck and furled into its yard. After dinner Captain Simon hosted a quiz night which was won by the permanent crew……who – it has to be admitted – would still have won even if the final round with questions concerning the ship had been
discounted from the final score.
This morning all hands were on deck for bracing the yards. Last night at approx.. 11pm the ships log clicked over to 1000 nautical miles. YEA!! The weather remains wonderful, although perhaps a little too good – lots of sunshine but very little wind so the sails have remained dormant today. Wishing for wind tomorrow.
