The Jubilee Sailing Trust would like to thank The Boshier-Hinton Foundation for their very generous donation that will allow us to replace the mattresses in the wheelchair user berths on board Tenacious.
Tall ship sailing provides an opportunity for individuals to experience an environment that is far removed from their usual daily experiences. Our voyage crew participate in all aspects of life on board, including going aloft, stowing and setting sails, helming, working in the galley, and the so-called ‘happy hour’ when everyone helps clean the ship. It is great fun, but can be hard work, so a good night’s sleep is very important. So when you’re lying in your bunk after an action-packed watch, please remember The Boshier-Hinton Foundation.
