We are very saddened to hear of the passing of JST Trustee Jenny Guinness. Jenny was a Trustee of the JST for about 10 years for much of the 1990s until 2 years after the maiden voyage of Tenacious in September 2000.
Jenny was always very enthusiastic and supportive of the work of the JST and was a diligent and very well respected member of the board of Trustees having sailed on the Lord Nelson on several occasions. She was very helpful whenever the Lord Nelson and Tenacious were visiting Ireland and hosted events on board whenever the ships were in Ireland, inviting potential donors and organisations on board in order to help with the fund raising and promoting of voyages.
She will be sorely missed by us all.
