We have now left Horta in the Azores, so far, we have seen multiple pods of dolphins and fingers crossed for seeing a whale. To instil some fun Jemima and Imogen have been hiding sweets around the ship, they have yet to be found, with the exception of Captain Darren who knows where they are as he saw us suspiciously hiding them – he sees everything. As we are leaving the Azores we have decided to sail around the islands on the way. Pico has yet to show us the top of the volcano but we are hopeful the clouds move soon. It’s 20 minutes past 1 in the afternoon and we are making 8 knots under motor. We wish we were sailing, however we have maxed out at 1 knot of wind. We are all excited for the second leg of the trip and our arrival back to the UK.
