A voyage of contrasts…
Antigua to Piraeus is different to our usual voyages.
As Captain Simon says: “It’s planned as a long run, with probably just one stop in Gibraltar and will be a little more challenging than the average voyage. With a tight schedule to keep, we’ll need to keep the speed up – this may mean harder sailing at times with perhaps more motor-sailing than normal”.
Departing Antigua towards Bermuda and the Azores before coming south again towards the planned stop in Gibraltar. Heading on into the Mediterranean in Spring, through the Pillars of Hercules and bound for the great port city of Piraeus, this should be a voyage of contrasts.

As Matthew said: ‘’It was challenging physically, mentally and socially. I will look back and be thankful for the friendships made and memories created. It has made me a stronger person and will affect every decision I make in the future’’
