Captain Darren shares his thoughts on our Caribbean and Antigua itinerary:

There are plenty of other islands to visit during your trip, with picturesque anchorages, colourful villages, fantastic wildlife, and palm fringed beaches. The weather conditions to be found in the islands are perfect for sailing. Steady trade winds, azure waters, and very comfortable temperatures!

For anyone who hasn’t sailed with us before, joining us means you will become an integral member of the crew, taking part in all aspects of sailing our magnificent vessel. It doesn’t matter how experienced or inexperienced you feel you are. You go along at your own pace, our permanent crew of professional seafarers and volunteers will show you the ropes and are always there to support you during your voyage.

There is plenty of time for socialising and down time ashore at the islands we visit, we always ensure that there is ample time to “stand and stare”.

The comradery and friendships that develop among shipmates onboard creates a bond that remains long after the voyage is over, these friendships are the result of shared experiences and may last a lifetime. We like to think that the community spirit that develops during our voyages is a little example of what society should be like!

If you feel that this may be an adventure that will suit you, do please get in touch. Our friendly shore side staff will be happy to help and answer any questions you may have.

See you onboard!

– Captain Darren.
