Help us fund vital maintenance work on Tenacious, which is critical to the Jubilee Sailing Trust’s ability to continue delivering amazing experiences.
The JST is regulated by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), and quite rightly prides itself on the very high standard of safety that is required in order to operate both of our ships. In addition, both of our ships are classed by Lloyd’s Register. Their requirements mean we have to invest substantial sums of money in the maintenance and upkeep of our two ships.
This vital investment to keep the ships seaworthy and safe is possible not only through the income generated from voyage sales but also continuous fundraising efforts. Each year we have to raise in excess of £1.5 million.
In July 2017, Tenacious will be going into dry dock – which means our maintenance costs will significantly increase. Now is the time we need to call upon your help!
We’re asking for donations throughout this month to help us meet this challenge. Any amount that you are able to give will make a massive difference to over 2,500 people who sail with us each year.
Equally as important as giving, is helping us spread the word. We’d really appreciate it if you can share our message with friends and family, so our appeal and mission can reach as many people as possible.
You may have sailed on Tenacious or Lord Nelson, been to an event or be one of our many land-based supporters. Each one of you is equally important to us in enabling the delivery of our charitable aims. From all of us at the JST, we’d like to say a huge thank you for your support.
